There are a large number of varieties of grinding:
– Coarse. Particles of ground coffee reach a size of about 1 mm. This grinding degree is suitable for brewing (preparing) coffee in a French press due to the fact that ground coffee particles of this size are easily retained in such devices.
– Average. Universal grind that is suitable for making coffee in a coffee machine at home or in offices. Coffee with this degree of grinding gives excellent taste. Also grinding of this type is perfect for carob coffee makers.
– Small (thin). Suitable for brewing a coffee drink in a cezve (turk). Fine grinding is also done specifically for professional coffee machines, in which coffee is prepared by passing hot steam through the ground beans.
